A MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT

Enrique Ponce served as Sheridan Student Union President for two years, and in that time, building a Strategic Plan for the SSU was one of his main goals. We are happy to see that with the help of Enrique, the Board, our partners at Sheridan and our Strategic Planning Committee, we were able to bring that vision to life.

“Ensuring we as an organization adhere to the needs of our students is always at the forefront of what we do. With three unique campuses, this can be a challenging feat to accomplish at times. In order to better align ourselves as an organization, I wanted to implement a strategic plan that will act as a guiding map to achieve our goals, and to align our team more efficiently so we can best serve our students.

I am immensely proud of how this plan was put together. We ensured we gathered feedback from our team, but most importantly from the students, our most important stakeholder.

As we embark on the journey of bringing this strategic plan to life, I look forward to it serving its intended purpose, steering the Sheridan Student Union in the direction of empowering our student leaders and helping us best serve the students of Sheridan College.”
